Project experience
Eleven major capital programs — and one active — across Oil Sands, Mining, Pipelines, Refining and Marine Infrastructure, representing a combined project value of more than $7.5 billion.
Neptune Bulk Terminals — Berth 2 (B2D2) Expansion & Shiploader Replacement
Nosha Management is currently contributing to the Neptune Bulk Terminals Berth 2 (B2D2) Expansion and Shiploader Replacement Project, a major marine infrastructure upgrade designed to enhance terminal capacity, reliability and operational performance at one of Canada's key bulk handling facilities. Scope includes the demolition and reconstruction of existing berth facilities, installation of new marine structures and conveyor systems, and a new ship loader — requiring complex marine construction activities both above and below the high-water line.
Eleven capital programs, three countries
Firebag SAGD Project — Phase 3 & 4 Bitumen Recovery
Nosha Management supported the successful execution of the Firebag SAGD Phase 3 & 4 Bitumen Recovery Project, a major thermal Oil Sands development for Suncor Energy. The project represented a significant expansion of SAGD production capability, requiring effective coordination, disciplined project controls and strong execution management within a complex Oil Sands environment.
Sturgeon Refinery Gasification Silo Project
Nosha Management supported the Sturgeon Refinery Gasification Silo Project, a major refinery development delivered by Northwest Redwater Partnership. As an internationally recognized capital project, it represented a significant advancement in refining technology — using gasification to manage and reduce residual waste products while improving overall operational efficiency.
Kirby North SAGD & Horizon Oil Sands Projects
Nosha Management contributed to the successful delivery of two major CNRL capital projects: the Kirby North SAGD Bitumen Recovery Project ($1.5B) and the Horizon Oil Sands Project Phase 2 Retrofit ($1.8B). These large-scale developments represented significant investment in expanding bitumen production capacity and improving operational efficiency, while incorporating initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Baseline Tank Terminal Project
Nosha Management supported the successful execution of the Baseline Tank Terminal Project, a major energy infrastructure development delivered through a joint venture between Kinder Morgan Canada and Keyera. The project was a critical component of Alberta's oil transportation and storage infrastructure, supporting the efficient handling, storage and movement of energy products within the Western Canadian energy network.
Baldy Ridge Coal Mine Tunnel Rehabilitation & Expansion
Nosha Management supported the successful completion of the Baldy Ridge Coal Mine Tunnel Rehabilitation & Expansion Project for Teck Resources, delivered through PROCON Mining & Tunnelling. This complex underground mining project rehabilitated and expanded critical tunnel infrastructure supporting Teck's coal mining operations — where high-quality coal production plays a significant role in global steelmaking supply chains.
Suncor Base Plant Fluid Tailings Management Program
Nosha Management supported the effective delivery of the Suncor Base Plant Fluid Tailings Management Program, delivered through KBR — a critical environmental and operational initiative within Suncor's Oil Sands operations. The project focused on advancing tailings management solutions to improve the treatment, handling and long-term stability of fluid tailings generated through bitumen extraction and processing.
Enbridge Pipeline & Compressor Station Projects
Nosha Management helped drive successful execution of multiple pipeline infrastructure projects for Enbridge, delivered through Triple J Pipelines — including the Kamloops CS7 Compressor Station Piping Recoat Project ($11M), the Spruce Ridge Chetwynd Loop Pipeline Project ($96.6M), and the Quesnel T-South Expansion 2020 Pipeline Crossover Project ($8.9M). These projects supported the continued reliability, integrity and safe operation of Enbridge's North American pipeline network.
Island Gold Mine — Phase 3 Expansion Project
Nosha Management contributed to the successful implementation of the Island Gold Mine Phase 3 Expansion Project, a major underground mining development focused on expanding production capacity and long-term operational performance. Scope included major underground development activities and critical infrastructure upgrades, including a new mine shaft, paste plant facility and mill expansion.
BHP Jansen Mine — Phase 1 Project
Nosha Management played a key role in the successful delivery of the BHP Jansen Mine Phase 1 Project, delivered through Cementation Canada Inc. — part of one of the world's largest and most advanced potash mining developments. Scope included critical underground mine development activities associated with the construction of the Production and Service Shafts, including post-liner excavation works.
Line Creek Operations Water Treatment Facility
Nosha Management assisted in the successful completion of the Line Creek Operations Water Treatment Facility Project for EVR Glencore, a major environmental infrastructure investment focused on managing and reducing selenium levels associated with mining operations in British Columbia's Elk Valley region — protecting aquatic ecosystems while enabling sustainable long-term operations.
Jamalco Refinery Powerhouse Restoration — Phase 3
Nosha Management helped ensure successful execution of the Jamalco Refinery Powerhouse Restoration Phase 3 Project, delivered through Hatch. This industrial energy infrastructure project restored Steam Turbine Generator #4 (45 MW) — a critical power generation asset supporting Jamalco's bauxite mining and alumina refining operations, a key contributor to the global aluminum supply chain.
